Family Bridges, Inc. is a non-profit organization designed to serve the elderly, seniors, immigrants and disadvantaged in the Oakland area. With a focus on the Asian community, Family Bridges includes five major programs that are designed to promote independence through information and learning. Our programs include a Diabetes Education Center, two Adult Day Health Centers, an Adult Activity Center and a Social Services Unit. It is our goal to prevent many of the disadvantaged individuals in our community from becoming unemployed, institutionalized or isolated because of language or cultural barriers.
