We've been in business since 1965. This year marks our 50th anniversary!
What is your primary product or service?
We manufacture pressure sensitive (self-adhesive) labels for a wide variety of applications from artisan to industrial and everything in between.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Our founder, David Masri, bought a small label machine and started the business in his garage in 1965. It's been a growing, family-owned and operated business ever since!
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We offer exceptional, personalized customer service from your initial inquiry to the final delivery of your label. Label Art innovates with materials and processes, consistently outperforming ourselves and our competitors.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one large facility in Oakland and a sister company in New York State as well as a regional office in California's Wine Country. We have plenty of capacity to grow in our current location and are committed to the Oakland community.

Label Art is easy to find, just one block from Whole Foods Market Oakland and about four blocks from Lake Merritt. From San Francisco, take I-80E. From points east, take CA-24W or I-580W. Take Exit 21A and turn right onto Harrison Street, then right onto 27th Street. Label Art will be on your right. Look for the red awning.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards.
Which areas do you service?
We have customers all over the country, but many of our customers are from Napa Valley and Lodi among California's vintners, as well as among the many food, beverage, and health product artisans of the Bay Area.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
The Masri family has owned and operated Label Art since day one in 1965!

We're open Monday-Friday, 9-5:30.
