Psychotherapy and counseling services for women, men, couples, families, teens and children. Women's support groups. Consultation to individuals and work groups to identify and resolve workplace communication ad relationship problems.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Interest in people and helping clients develop healthy, harmonious and satisfying relationships. My areas of specialization include: individual, couple and family psychotherapy; mother & daughter relationships, the effects of substance abuse and co-dependency on self-esteem and family life; couple therapy and communication; anger & assertiveness support groups for women; psychotherapy for incest and trauma survivors; individual and family therapy for teens and children; parenting, divorce and step-parenting concerns. Provide consultation to individuals and work groups to identify concerns, improve communication and resolve interpersonal problems that interfere with workplace effectiveness and productivity.

Beginning therapy and choosing a psychotherapist can be a daunting decision! Each client requires a specific therapeutic relationship that fits unique needs and comfort levels. My approach is pragmatic and collaborative, listening empathically to learn from you what works best.
Proceeding at your pace, we explore your thoughts and feelings about what is going well and what is not. We listen to dreams and longings, mindful of obstacles and interference from self-defeating habits, attitudes and relationships. This opens the door for better choices, acceptance and balance in your life.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I have office hours in Berkeley and Vallejo.
Which areas do you service?
My office in downtown Berkeley is easily accessible from San Francisco and East bay locations by car, ACTranist and BART.
My Vallejo office is located between Broadway and Sonoma (Hwy 29) and very accessble by car and bus.
